Bridgend CBC (Wales) approached eventeem to provide a community engagement roadshow solution through which to engage with residents within the CBC boundary in order to communicate their waste service changes and advise how they would be affected. The team would be required to bridge the gap between the council office and the residents, gather feedback, direct queries and concerns to the council and ultimately drive traffic to the campaign microsite.
eventeem provided a two pronged solution for this campaign; one roadshow team in which brand ambassadors could engage with residents at local supermarkets, and one MediaWalker team to spread the campaign message through town centres. eventeem also arranged all promotional stand items, arranged permissions and devised a social sharing mechanic which ensured shares and retweets were maximised throughout the campaign period.
