Frequently named as one of the best places to live and work in the UK, it combines a historic Old Town and a modern New Town. The cosmopolitan Scottish capital is the seventh most populous in the United Kingdom; a bustling, fascinating and comfortably small city that has plenty to offer.
Edinburgh – The City
One of the most popular and well known attractions in the city is Edinburgh Castle. Located in the Old Town, it dominates the city’s skyline and is one of the most significant attraction in the city. The city also has plenty of other popular spots like the beautiful landscapes of Princes Street Gardens and the lively Royal Mile. Edinburgh does not only have great attractions and beautiful architecture but it’s also a city full of culture and is host to a variety of colourful festivals throughout the year.
Named as one of the most spectacular shows is the annual Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo which is a unique and memorable celebration of music, dance and military pageantry, forming part of Edinburgh’s world-famous summer festivals. Additionally, during August thousands of performers worldwide take to hundreds of stages all over the city to present shows for every taste during the annual Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

This spring, we were involved with their Matcha May campaign which has been a great success; not least during our visit to the Harvey Nichols store in Edinburgh.
Another popular campaign with our Scottish staff involved the recruitment of a team of sporty brand ambassadors and a team leader in Edinburgh to promote a series of relay events happening locally within the city as part of the British Gas Swim Britain campaign.
