Legion: The Mutant Lounge – Fox

25 Jan

If you’re like me, the worst thing, by far, about Marvel’s superhero productions, is returning to reality once they’ve finished. In order to solve what I’m confident is a universal concern, the kind people at fox are launching a new experiential pop-up where fans can experience a taste of the Marvel universe and its latest IP, Legion.

Legion: The Mutant Lounge

The event will take place to support the launch of the aforementioned Legion, Marvel‘s latest television mini-series based on the popular X-men franchise. The Mutant lounge will be the first bar staffed entirely by mutants, superpowers and all. Guests will enjoy a range of mutant-themed cocktails, exotic canapes and thrilling surprises throughout the evening. According to Fox, visitors will learn that, “not everything is as it seems,” a fitting theme for a show who’s schizophrenic protagonist learns that there is more to his mental illness than first appears.

The Screening of Future Past

As exciting, and slightly ominous, as that sounds, one thing that has been confirmed is that guests will be treated to an exclusive early screening of Legion’s pilot episode, at the launch event. These temporary precognitive abilities only work on the show unfortunately!

Where do I sign?

Launching February 8th at the Century Club on London’s Shaftesbury Avenue, the Mutant Lounge is a must-see for fans of unique mixology and superhuman mutants alike. Tickets are free, limited to 2 per person and are available via eventbrite.

Legion, written by Noah Hawley of Fargo acclaim, is set to premier in February this year. If like us, you can’t wait that long, here’s the latest teaser featuring star of Downton Abbey and The Guest, Dan Stevens:
