Christopher started working with eventeem earlier this year and has since undertaken various roles from brand ambassador to character actor, proving to be a flexible and versatile member of staff who is always willing to go the extra mile to achieve great results for our clients.
With event management experience also, Christopher has strong leadership skills and is able to use initiative and make quick decisions to deal with unforeseen circumstances and make the most out of any situation. He thrives on the diverse and often challenging nature of the event and promotions industry and enjoys working in a customer focused environment where no two days are the same!
We put some questions to Christopher…
Christopher, what type of campaign or event do you enjoy most and why?
The type of campaign that I enjoy the most is a busy, bustling job dealing with lots of people and getting to chat to anyone and everyone, I enjoy meeting new people and it’s one of the main reasons I love working in promotions.
How did you discover promotions and why did you feel this industry was right for you?
I discovered promo after a friend recommended it to me – I was stuck in a full time office job and wanted and needed a change, so took a chance and decided to see if I could do it full time. Four years later I am still doing it and it was the best decision I ever made!
In your opinion, what makes the perfect brand ambassador?
The perfect brand ambassador is someone who is open minded, confident and chatty, and willing to take opportunities and chances as they come. You need to be good meeting people and adapting to how different people can be.
What are you up to when you are not working on promotional campaigns?
When I am not doing promo I work in a pub and I am a model too, I have been doing bar work for 11 years and modelling for 14 years.
What has been your favourite/most memorable job to date?
My most memorable job was working at V-Festival and getting the best shift so that I was finished in time to see Beyonce on stage! It was so good being there and enjoying it, I always look forward to the festival season when I get to travel all over the UK to work.
Finally, how do you find working for eventeem?
I have found working for eventeem absolutely brilliant, I have found fantastic support from Hayley no matter what and have felt comfortable enough to let her know any concerns and worries. They have communicated so well which is sometimes not the case with other agencies, it is so refreshing to actually receive feedback from people in the office. I definitely look forward to working with eventeem again in the future!
