Eventeem Snapshots is our chance to provide you with a glimpse into some of the high-profile promotional events and activations that we’re staffing across the UK. This year we’ve been working with Swedish family-owned brand BabyBjörn, to support their marketing activity in the UK.
Eventeem started working with BabyBjörn at the beginning of 2018 when they enlisted our support in recruiting promotional staff in London, to support their exhibition stand at The Baby Show at the ExCeL centre in East London. BabyBjörn is a family-owned business that values a high level of personal commitment. They make sure that they not only develop safe products but also provide parents with good information, so the quality of the brand ambassadors selected to represent the company, and their knowledge of the brand, was vital to BabyBjörn’s success at the show.
We recruited staff that were not only reflective of the BabyBjörn brand, but also were parents themselves, or had experience caring for small children and could effortlessly relate to the target audience when demonstrating the products to them.
Following the success of our first consumer show with BabyBjörn, we were tasked with recruiting further promotional staff in Birmingham for The Baby Show at the NEC and a second show in London towards the end of the year.

At Eventeem, it’s not just promotional staff that we offer. Our team is varied and many of our staff have skills that are transferrable to other roles. For BabyBjörn, we have also this year supported the area sales team with retail store training, focusing on the brand’s baby carriers, bouncer and travel cot.
We recruited a team of expert brand ambassadors who received full product training prior to visiting a number of key retail outlets in the UK such as various branches of John Lewis, Mamas & Papas and Mothercare. Our training team was tasked with demonstrating the products to store advisers, highlighting the key selling points of each item ensuring the retailers were fully equipped to present the products to consumers, to the best of their ability, ultimately increasing sales for both the retailer and the brand itself.
