Leah is truly deserving of the title this month having demonstrated time and time again her amazing professionalism, strong work ethic and reliability. As well as being incredibly trustworthy, she’s the kind of staff member who can grab hold of any role and really make it her own. We’ve received consistently positive feedback about Leah from our clients, with a particular emphasis on her helpfulness, enthusiasm, and lovely personality. This month she was praised for her meticulousness, pro-activity and always going the extra mile.
With an instinct to put others before herself, we feel very privileged to call her a member of our team!
We put some questions to Leah…
Leah, how long have you worked in the events industry, and what drew you to it initially?
I’ve worked in events for around 8 years now. There are too many different jobs and campaigns to list but my years of experience show I must be enjoying myself!
What type of campaign or event do you most enjoy working on and why?
Campaigns that run for more than one day are usually my favourite. Simply because of the people you meet working on these jobs and the rapport you build with them; it creates a fun and, in-turn, hardworking environment.
What are you up to when you are not working on promotional campaigns?
I work as a dancer, so when not engaged in promotional campaigns I am either performing, rehearsing or teaching. Failing being involved in either of those usually means I’ve packed my rucksack and gallivanted off round the globe somewhere!
In your opinion, what makes the perfect brand ambassador?
Umm, I would have to say someone who is open! A friendly, non-judgemental personality works a treat when you need to engage with anyone and everyone. The ability to keep upbeat and have a smile is what creates great team morale. I love that so many people working in promotional events have these qualities!
What has been your favourite/most memorable job to date?
The Capri-Sun Campaign 2014 for eventeem. Roller skating all day around London in the sunshine (yes, it was an epic summer weather-wise for us!) with a bunch of lovely girls, wearing awesome outfits, putting a smile on people’s faces with Capri-Sun samples. Too much fun!
Finally, what’s it like working for eventeem?
I have never had a day where it felt like a chore to go and do a day’s work for eventeem. Cheesy but true!
