We put some questions to Rosie…

Rosie, how did you discover promotions and why did you feel this industry was right for you?

I was offered a job in Marbella promoting a new boutique hotel. I loved the work, the socialising, meeting new people and the flexibility! When I moved back to the UK, I decided to work in the industry full-time.

What type of campaign or event do you most enjoy working on and why?

I enjoy hospitality — both the corporate and the glamorous events. It is nice spending time chatting and getting to know the guests and their industry and making sure they are enjoying themselves.

What are you up to when you are not working on promotional campaigns

Promotions is a full-time job; when I am not working I am usually doing my accounts or looking for more work! On my rare days off, I love to spend time with my dogs, I enjoy eating out and catching up with friends.

Having worked as a both a brand ambassador and an event manager, what do you think makes a great leader?

Having worked as a brand ambassador, I know what makes a great event manager. They need to get involved and be prepared to muck in with the team. On long days, regular breaks keep the team members motivated and hitting targets. A sense of humour is a must!

What has been your favourite/most memorable job to date?

I love working annually at the F1 British Grand Prix. I love cars, so this is my dream job! The atmosphere is always electric and I get to watch the race along with all the VIPs.

Finally, how do you find working for eventeem?

Eventeem is a young, fun agency to work for. Ceri and Hayley are super organised, confirm bookings in advance and pay great rates.
