Marketing Staff grows as new member joins the team.

21 Sep

As our company continues to grow, we are continuing to bring new, exciting members of staff on board. It is our pleasure to introduce our new Marketing Assistant, Harry Hassall. Harry’s role will be assisting with all aspects of marketing and PR ranging from: digital and social media; to writing and distributing press releases; as well as creating fun and engaging content for the blog and other platforms.

So Harry, tell us more about yourself and your marketing role?

I’m 23 and originally from Nottingham however, I graduated in International Management in 2015 from Cardiff University. Since then I have stayed in Wales and have worked as a content writer for an online blog, as well as a cocktail barman! I’m very excited to be joining the eventeem staff, not least because it gives me a chance to showcase my creative flare, alongside my passion for marketing.

As for my role at eventeem, I’ll be assisting with the overall marketing and PR strategies. This means I’ll be actively posting content through the social media channels and blog, in addition to creating and distributing email campaigns and press releases. It’s an exciting new challenge which I’m very much looking forward to.

What did you do prior to joining eventeem?

Prior to eventeem I have a diverse employment history. Most recently, I worked as a freelance content writer, primarily for London based lifestyle blog. I also worked in a local cocktail bar, this was great fun, but there’s only so many times you can go to bed at 5:00am!

What excites you most about joining eventeem?

I’m excited to be joining the staff on the ground floor of a growing business in an interesting and diverse industry. I’m also looking forward to learning a great deal as part of a great team, whilst having the freedom to be creative within my work and tackling the challenges that brings.

Outside of work, what keeps you entertained?

In my free time I love listening to music and travelling, as a result, I’ve been to a lot of festivals, including Tomorrowland in Belgium and Outlook in Croatia, and just got back from a week in Barcelona. I like to stay active too, having played rugby since I was ten years old. In addition, last year I took up mixed martial arts and have been actively competing ever since.

Do you have any interesting hidden talents?

Thanks to my dad I’m able to speak French to a good standard (and Spanish to not such a good standard). I also have a black belt in Wado-Ryu karate. I’m hoping the former will be come in more useful at eventeem than the latter!
